J-EDUCAT: Journal of Educational Studies accepts original scholarly manuscripts in the field of educational sciences.
The journal publishes theoretical, empirical, and review studies that contribute to the advancement of educational research.
Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
The journal accepts the following types of contributions:
original research articles
theoretical or conceptual papers
review articles
case studies related to educational research
Manuscripts may be submitted in:
English
Turkish
Manuscripts in Russian or Azerbaijani may also be considered if they fall within the scope of the journal and meet the academic standards of the journal. All submissions must include an English title, abstract, and keywords.
Authors must prepare their manuscripts according to the journal manuscript template available on the website.
The manuscript should include:
title of the article
author names and affiliations
ORCID numbers
abstract
keywords
main text
references
Authors are expected to follow the formatting rules provided in the journal template.
Authors must submit the following documents during the submission process:
Full manuscript with author information
Anonymous manuscript prepared for blind review
Signed copyright form (PDF)
Ethics committee approval or ethics declaration form (if required)
Similarity report (Turnitin or iThenticate)
All manuscripts submitted to the journal are checked using plagiarism detection software.
The journal generally considers a similarity rate of up to 20% acceptable, provided that the similarities are properly cited and do not constitute plagiarism.
Manuscripts are submitted through the journal’s online submission system.
All submissions are recorded, tracked, and processed through a structured editorial workflow. Each submission is assigned a unique ID and monitored throughout the peer review process.
Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal’s submission requirements may be returned to the authors for revision before being sent for peer review.
All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process.
Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.
Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editorial board makes the final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection.
Authors must comply with the journal’s publication ethics and research integrity policies.
Studies requiring ethical approval must include documentation from the relevant ethics committee.
Before submitting a manuscript to J-EDUCAT: Journal of Educational Studies, authors are requested to ensure that the following requirements have been met.

☐ An anonymous version of the manuscript has been prepared for the double-blind peer review process.
☐ A similarity report (Turnitin or iThenticate) has been generated and the similarity rate does not exceed the journal’s acceptable threshold.
☐ A signed copyright form has been prepared.
☐ If the study requires ethical approval, the ethics committee approval document or ethics declaration form has been included.
☐ All sources used in the manuscript have been properly cited and referenced.
☐ The manuscript files and required documents are ready to be submitted via the journal submission email.
